Seems like there a fair share of public sector workers with time on their hands. Who in their right mind would vote yes.

The public sector need to get a reality check, they have no comprehension of the pain private sector employees are going through. The unions keep on saying “why are we beening picked on to pay for the mistakes of the government?” but I think one of the mistakes of the goverment has been the way it has given into the demands of the public sector over the last few years. Social partnership only seemed to work when the unions were getting what they wanted, arguing for benchmarking to get pay increases but benchmarking works in the other direction too! They are alot of people in the public sector getting paid very well for the job they do, in fact they are better paid than most private sector employees.

It was good to see the Farmers and Small Firms Association come out against Public Sector Strike action. The private sector have a voice, let it be heard!

I was surprised to see the IFA or the SFA do anything without a subsidy or a tax break of some kind.
